Killee

“Thank you so very much for helping us with Killee. I can’t imagine what would have happened if Angel’s Watch hadn’t provided this awesome service to us. Killee was so very loved. She was family to us. We are missing her so much and words can’t describe the sorrow we feel right now.”

Lisa is a loving pet parent of Killee. Lisa has been battling a rare form of cancer. Expenses from her chemotherapy, specialist appointments, and medical procedures have left her family with significant debt and little savings. Killee came to the family as a stray dog 13 years ago, when another pet was nearing the end of their life, as if she were sent to help Lisa and her family grieve. Lisa shared a very special connection with Killee and struggled with knowing that as Killee was nearing the end of her life, she would be unable to afford services to ease her pain. With the Angel’s Watch fund, Lisa was able to obtain Angel’s Paws’ services to provide hospice care for Killee, including pain management, and symptom control, as well as the emotional support for herself and family members. Lisa and her family were able to say a peaceful goodbye to Killee in her own home and have a beautiful ceremony in the chapel to receive her ashes. Her urn says: “Killee, Your wings were ready… Our hearts were not.” Your generous contributions help families like Lisa & Killee through the most difficult and trying times.
